In the future, I'll remember to disable the password for startup, but the work around is pretty simple. Find a wired USB mouse and plug it in before startup. I had to try a couple out before I got one that worked. Actually the wireless one worked for me as well. Once booted up, reinstall the kext, repair permissions, and reboot.
