Got this up and running with minimal difficulty and it works and functions great!! Only question I have on my end is has anyone found a way to be able to utilize the internal microphone, audio works great just can’t get that mic to work…any thoughts are appreciated!!

Go into system preferences and open the sound tab and check which mic is selected. try both of them if there are 2.

Try to run the script twice, if this doesn’t work then you could possibly have a different network card. You can check you specs by going to dell.com and entering your service tag which will tell you what you have in your computer. You may have a 3945abg card, if that’s the case then you are gonna have to read about the most recent developments for it. You can find them here

Hello Genaro. Installed 10.5.7 perfectly on my first partition (wifi working but no ethernet…) anyway the question is: I want to install Vista Ultimate in the second partition. How do I do it without screwing the loading of the MAC OS ?????

You can try to install 10.5.7, it might work, if not go to my new post http://macyourpc.com/2009/05/30/common-problems-on-dell-inspiron-1525-hackintosh/ and install the IOPCIFamily.kext which might help.

The dell mini 10 doesnt work and the asus does but to be honest with you I would buy the lenovo s10 it works the best out of all the netbooks and I will be purchasing one soon as well.

Can you download my driver pack and then go into the "Misc" folder and double-click the "Broadcom.pkg" and everything should work.

Unplug the power and plug it back in and check it out. Sometimes voodoobattery.kext doesn’t update correctly till you uplug the ac and plug it back in.

Hi, Thanks for all the good advise here, I now have 10.5.7, all is good but the battery meter always seems to show 10 minutes to fully charge and does not update, have you seen this before?

hi! appleyukon1.kext not work. flashing yellow and orange in ethernet, I did well on the Internet setting. Debian 5.0 is set as the IPC, the internet works. I have only the Internet. I love Mac OS X. 100% thanks for your help.

Great site! I’m getting started with my dual boot 1525 now following your directions. Just one problem, your Dell Inspiron 1525 Drivers link at the top of this page doesn’t seem to be working.
